1) Definitions
- Service: The TATi Maui website, application, and related services.
- You: The individual or entity using the Service.
- Content: Information you submit to the Service, including property and booking data.
2) Eligibility and accounts
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining password confidentiality.
- You may not use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
3) The Service and tax disclaimer
The Service is designed to help you organize and track Maui vacation rental taxes and related monthly totals. TATi Maui is not a tax advisor, accountant, or law firm, and we do not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice. You are responsible for verifying calculations, compliance obligations, and filings.
4) Subscription, trial, and billing
- The Service may be offered via subscription plans based on property count or other plan limits.
- We may provide a 14-day free trial. Your card will not be charged until the trial ends.
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your payment method.
- Fees are generally billed in advance for the upcoming billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout.

5) Cancellations
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation prevents future renewals. Access may remain active until the end of the current billing period depending on your plan and billing settings.
6) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service except as permitted by law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks.
- Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, or probe security vulnerabilities.
- Use the Service to violate laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
7) Your content
- You retain ownership of the Content you submit to the Service.
- You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your Content solely to operate the Service.
- You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit Content and that it does not violate applicable laws.
8) Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by TATi Maui or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.
9) Service changes and availability
We may modify, update, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We strive to keep the Service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
10) Third-party services
The Service may integrate with third-party platforms (for example booking platforms or payment providers). We are not responsible for third-party products, services, or policies.
11) Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TATi Maui will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service during the three (3) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
13) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TATi Maui from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
14) Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if required to protect the Service, users, or legal compliance. You may stop using the Service at any time.
15) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the business operating the Service, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you have a required jurisdiction or governing-law preference, update this section accordingly.
16) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
